How to have a safe Halloween at home

Don't let restrictions stop you from celebrating Halloween. Here are some tips to ensure you make the most of this once-a-year celebration in a safe way.

Follow the health advice about what you can and can’t do this Halloween. Trick or treating will be out of the question but there are plenty of other ways to celebrate. Check the DHHS website for a full list of restrictions -

Put safety first and if you can catch up with others outdoors, remember to socially distance and wear a mask if you are over 12 years old – be safe and hygienic.

Catch up virtually and still spend Halloween with family and friends. Dress up in your favourite Halloween costumes for the call and share how you have decorated your home or what you have baked.

Be social from a distance and decorate your home to bring joy to your neighbourhood. As  people are walking past they can get involved in the Halloween spirit!
