Rowville Library Covid-19 Update

In line with the easing of restrictions in Victoria,  Rowville Library will re-open from Monday 9 November with the following guidelines and practices in place to be COVIDSafe;

  • Open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9am - 5.30pm and Thursday 9am - 8pm. Closed daily mid-week from 1pm - 2pm for cleaning. Saturday open 10am - 5pm.
  • Limited to 120 people. 
Conditions of Entry
  • No more than 120 people (including children over 12 months) at any one time in the library
  • A membership card must be scanned for tracing purposes on entering and leaving the library
  • A family group can enter with one adult membership card. Children under 12 months are not counted
  • Facemasks must be worn by people over the age of 12 – DHHS Guidelines apply for exemptions
  • The hand sanitiser provided must be used before entry to the library
  • The maximum stay is one hour for a booked PC session  
  • No food or drink is permitted in the library.
  • No cash transactions
  • Whilst every care will be taken library customers are using our facilities at their own risk.
In the interest of health, safety and well-being to all, members must comply with all directives from the nominated Officer-In –Charge. 

Is Click for Home Delivery still available?

Yes, Click for Home Delivery is a postal service that allows you to keep on borrowing from the library under  restrictions. A box of library items will be delivered to your address by courier.

How do I get started?

You can place holds on items that you want, or ask the library to make a selection for you, by logging into your account on the catalogue, phoning your local branch or ringing 1300 737 277. 

You will need your library card number and PIN to place holds through the online catalogue. If you don’t know your PIN, reset it here
