Burger sliders with potato chips

500g lean minced beef
1 egg
1 tbsp dried oregano
Pinch onion salt (if desired)
Pinch celery salt (if desired)
Pinch garlic salt or minced garlic clove
Salt and pepper
8 mini brioche hamburger buns
40 g butter or ½ cup coconut oil, or ½ cup olive oil
3 large potatoes sliced


Cheese slices
Shredded iceberg or oakleaf lettuce
1 roma or small tomato, sliced
Tomato or burger or garlic mayonnaise sauce

  1. Put half oil in fry pan and add potato slices or use deep fryer, cook for 15-20 mins
  2. Meanwhile, combine beef, egg, dried oregano, celery salt, onion salt, garlic salt, salt and pepper in bowl, mix with hands to combine.
  3. Divide mixture into 8 and shape into small round patties.
  4. Heat pan or grill, brush with oil or butter.
  5. Cook patties 3-4 minutes each side over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
  6. Place cheese slice on each patty, until melted, remove and keep warm.
  7. Cut mini brioche buns in half and put face down into frypan to toast in juices (add extra oil or butter if required).
  8. Place each bun base on serving plates, add meat patty with cheese, tomato, lettuce, then, desired sauce, and finally, the top of the bun.
  9. Serve with potato chips.
